This is how you can make videos for tablet viewing, in a square format, using Rocketium:

  1. Go to the Rocketium editor. If you haven’t created an account, sign up here.

  2. Add media, text and voice-over

    The first screen you see is the “Add Content” screen. This is the first step to create a video for tablet viewing. Here you can add images, gifs or video clips. You can also add text captions and voiceover from this screen.

    Options available to add media:

    i. Search: Click on the search icon to browse Rocketium’s library of free images and video clips. You can select from this collection of over 15 million assets by searching using keywords.

    ii. Upload: Upload your own image, gif or video footage by clicking the upload icon.

    iii. Drag & Drop: You can also drag the image, gif or video footage you want to upload to the editor, and drop it.

    To add a voiceover:

    Click on the Voiceover icon. Use the record button to record your voiceover for the scene or the upload button if you already have a pre-recorded audio file.

  3. Select a theme

    Rocketium’s library houses 40+ themes categorized by relevance to your video. You can also customise the effects, transitions, motion graphics, color and animations from the different options present on the left panel.

  4. Publish in square mode for tablet viewing

    Before you publish your video, set the orientation of your video to Square, which is perfect for tablet viewing.

    Click on “Finish” to publish your video.
