Video making can be a time consuming process. But you can spend less time making videos by using Rocketium:

  1. Go to the Rocketium editor. If you haven’t created an account, sign up here.

  2. Add media, text and voice-over

    The step to making a video is to add your video content. Inside the Rocketium Editor, you can add images, gifs or video clips in this scene. You can also add text captions and voice-overs for your video.

    To add media:

    Search: You can click on the search icon (magnifying glass) to search for an image or a video clip from the Rocketium library, which contains over 15 million free images and video clips.

    Upload: To upload your own image, gif or video clip, click on the upload icon.

    Drag & Drop: You can also drag the image, gif or video clip that you want to upload to the editor, and drop it.

    To add voice-over:

    Click on the Voiceover icon. You can record your own voice-over from within the Editor by clicking the record button, or you can click the upload button if you already have a pre-recorded audio file.

  3. Select a theme

    The Rocketium library houses over 40 themes categorized by relevance to your video. You don’t have to spend time styling your video, you can just preview the themes, and apply the one which suits your video script the best.

    If needed, you can customise the music, effects, transitions, motion graphics, color and animations from the panel on the left.

  4. Preview and publish your video

    You can select the orientation of your video from the options below the preview screen. A landscape video is perfect for desktop viewing, a portrait video is perfect for mobile viewing and a square video is perfect for tablet viewing.

    Click on “Finish” to publish your video.

    Protip: In this screen, select the option Save As Theme to save your customized settings as your own theme. The next time you want to make a similar video, you won’t have to begin from scratch. You can directly select this theme from the Theme section in the Rocketium editor!
