Every slide from your slideshow represents one scene in your Rocketium video. All scene transitions can be replicated in the Rocketium editor and new ones can be added as well.
This is how you can make a video from a slideshow using Rocketium:
Go to the Rocketium editor. If you haven’t created an account, you can sign up here.
Add media, text and voice-over
The first step to convert a slideshow to a video is by adding all the slides as the scenes. You can do this from the “Add Content” screen. Here you can also add text captions and add voice-overs.
To add media:
Upload: Take screenshots of each slide and upload them as individual scenes. You can do so by clicking on the upload icon (arrow pointing upwards) and selecting the images from your computer.
Search: You can click on the search icon (magnifying glass) to search for an image or a video clip from our library of over 15 million free images and video clips.
Drag & Drop: You can also drag the images to the editor and drop them.
To add voice-over:
Click on the Voiceover icon next to the captions tab to record or upload a voiceover for the scenes.
Select a theme
Browse Rocketium’s collection of 40+ themes, categorized by relevance to your video. Adding effects, transitions, motion graphics, color and animations is just a one click-process.
If you want to change the music, text styling, media styling, transitions or animations, you can do so by browsing the panel on your left.
Select the orientation for your slideshow video. A landscape video is perfect for desktop viewing, a portrait video is perfect for mobile viewing and a square video is perfect for tablet viewing.
Click on “Finish” to publish your video.
