This is how you can make a DIY video using Rocketium:

  1. Go to the Rocketium editor. If you haven’t created an account, sign up here.

  2. Add media, text and voice-over

    You can add images, gifs or video clips from the “Add Content” screen. This is the first step to create a DIY video. Here you can also add text captions and voice-overs.

    To add media:

    Search: By clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass) you can search for an image or a video clip from our library  of over 15million free images and video clips.

    Upload: You can upload your own image, gif or video by clicking on the upload icon (arrow pointing upwards).

    Drag & Drop: You can also drag the image, gif or the video clip you want to upload to the editor, and drop it.

    To add voice-over:

    Click on the Voiceover icon. Select the record button to record your voiceover for the scene or the upload button if you already have a recorded audio file.

  3. Select a theme

    You can select a theme from Rocketium’s collection of over 40 themes and customizable settings, categorized by relevance to your video. Adding effects, transitions, motion graphics, color and animations is just a one click-process.

    If you want to edit the music, text styling, media styling, transitions or animations, you can do so by scrolling the panel on your left.

  4. Publish

    Select the orientation for your DIY video. A landscape video is perfect for desktop viewing, a portrait video is perfect for mobile viewing and a square video is perfect for tablet viewing.

    Click on “Finish” to publish your video.
