are fighting poachers with a thermal infrared camera

and catching illegal hunters in a matter of seconds.

In the first 9 months after the camera’s installation,
authorities arrested more than two dozen poachers.
The system allows rangers to see any activity more thana mile away in the dark.

Now, instead of being surprised by poachers,
rangers can surprise them,
giving Africa’s wildlife some much-needed protection.
